Flash 8 very slow in Windows Vista

Ok I had this issue where flash 8 was painfully slow when using it with Vista x64. The zoom in when editing has a naff little animated marque that took forever to open.
1. Find the flash 8.exe file
2. Right Click & go to properties
3. Set the compatability to win xp SP2

You also need to tick the option
“Disable desktop composition”

holy shit wow it will work fast again? i have to try this when im home.
i’m thinking of getting back to xp without GPU. But whats worth GPU if it isnt making it faster at all.. FUck vista! this os sucks bad. lets wait for windows 7
