Just made a simple tutorial demonstrating the basics of animating in CS3. People who have used flash or are at all familiar with timelines will have no problem using this new feature in CS3.

Yeah great just got photoshop CS3 and I had problems where the install would hang on “Shared components” not sure if anyone else has this issue, but here is how I got it working again.

Open windows task manager Ctrl+Alt+Delete

Go to Processes

Find msiexec and end process.

For me this got the whole thing running again.

Made some Dreamweaver 9 video tutorials. DW9 has a ton of great new features including the SPRY framework, making adding AJAX elements simple, actually it’s as easy as it gets. Great piece of software Dreamweaver, and this new version should put web design into the hands of even the most novice users.

We are going to see A LOT more AJAX functionality out there real soon. You can download the trail from Adobe right now, so go get it.

Ok so you have Skype, and you have just installed XAMPP, but Apache will not start. WTF?

1. The issue is caused by Skype and Apache using port 80.
2. Go to SKYPE > Tools > Options > Connections
3. Change the PORT number to anything else than 80

Done, Apache should now start.
